Kurt Weibers performs at arcades project

In today’s installment of ‘what you can expect to find at the Arcades Project’ on May 6th, we highlight the work of  Jamie O’Neil/Kurt Weibers, a Buffalo-based artist who creates ultra-real contexts such as trade show booths, kiosks, and infomercials that parody corporate culture. As the inventor of Skippisox, he will be presenting a new product that can be attached to your shoes to aid in skipping. His suave spokesman draws attention to the language of persuasion and the jingles characteristic of many industries, including art. Come by and test out Skippisox by doing your own skipping around The Commons.
